Is the culmination of a dream among public health professionals in Sarawak over the past few decades: an association for the gathering of public health professionals to discuss, plan and organise activities specifically for the development of the public health profession and the advancement of public health in Sarawak.

Public health issues continue to gain prominence in Sarawak as more people and professionals become aware that primary care and public health should be at the forefront of healthcare services. Coupled with the increase in public health professionals and practitioners in Sarawak, we believe that SaPHePA can be at the forefront of serving the community and be the voice of public health practitioners in Sarawak.
